RC-O-MANIA pt.3

It has begun.

Tonight I picked up a Kyosho Inferno ST US Sports over at Udisco as well as a gallon of nitro.

Tomorrow I will go pick up the required batteries.

Since I intend on doing this hobby for a long time, I’ve opened up a section on my blog; check out the Garage for updates and pictures of my Truggy. By the end of Summer I might get another RC car either Drift or Race and it will be stored in my Garage as well.

RC-O-MANIA pt. 2

So I’m getting ready to go pick up my Inferno ST and have been doing some reading here and there.

It seems there’s an Inferno ST-R and ST-RR.

Both of these seem to be enhanced performance wise so I’m thinking of converting my ST to some kind of ST/ST-RR hybrid.

I don’t think I’ll buy the longer chassis but I’m thinking of getting these:

• Higher rear wing mount.
• Big Bore shocks.
• KN Air filter.
• Offset wheel nuts.
• Black wheels.
• Tires with more grip.
• Pro-Line Crowd Pleazer 2 body painted in deep red.
• Black rear wing.
• Seal the servos.
• Rechargeable battery pack for receiver.
• Some decals for the body and ideally a UDISCO decal.

That should do it. The ST-RR has a better air filter, higher wing mount, offset wheels and big bore shocks as well as a longer chassis.

Yes, after over a yearish a new O-MANIA is here! This time, it’s all about RC Cars or Remote Controlled Cars. But not those crappy-battery-powered-lasting-2minutes-pieces-of-shit-that-you-buy-at-wallcrap-for-120$ no, I am talking about those top of the line fuel powered fucking hot ass banging huge RC cars!!

Tonight, I met one of Udisco‘s top RC guy and had a one hour talk about RC “fucking hot” cars.

RC Cars are either Off-Road or On-Road.

Then for On-Road there’s Racing, Casualish or Drift.

And then for Off-Road there’s Buggy, Truggy, Monster Truck and Truckishthingy thing.

Buggy is speed oriented while Monster Truck has a tendency to flip due to a high gravity center while Truggy is best of both worlds.

Fuck yeah; I’m going Truggy Off-Road Fuel-Powered Kick-Ass style!

I wanna be able to bring it anywhere close, not worry about charging batteries and just ride it and make it jump and flip.

After discussing with the dude, I chose a Kyosho Inferno ST US Sports. Only thing left now is to sell an airsoft gun and buy that beauty.

It may look a bit faggy with bright ugly colors but I’ll soon put a black body with red stripes as well as black rims and red nuts and a black spoiler on it so it looks fucking hot. OH YEAH.
